"On October 23, 2024, we lost a remarkable man — Martin H. Jones, Co-Founder of E.A.C. Heating & Air, beloved friend, and long-time partner in both business and life.
Martin’s journey began in Hardeeville, SC, where he learned the value of hard work at his father’s garage. At just 18, he began his career in HVAC, and over the decades, he rose through the ranks with quiet determination and unmatched skill. In 2005, Martin co-founded E.A.C. Heating & Air, helping build a company rooted in integrity, excellence, and community.
But Martin was more than a leader. He was a man of character — strong, loyal, and generous. He had a gift for connecting with people from all walks of life, and he treated everyone with respect and kindness. Whether mentoring young employees, helping neighbors after a storm, or supporting local causes through BMAD, Martin gave freely and often, always without fanfare.
He was also a man of joy. Martin loved motorcycles, southern rock, and a good laugh. He had a way of turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. He was the king of one-liners, a natural storyteller, and someone who could make you feel like family from the moment you met him.
Martin shared a deep and lasting relationship with his wife, Jessica, beginning in 2009. She was the love of his life, and their time together brought him a renewed sense of joy and peace. Their wedding in 2023 was a beautiful celebration of the bond they had built over many years.
From the Epperson family and the entire E.A.C. Heating & Air team, we remember Martin not only as a co-founder and colleague, but as a trusted friend and guiding presence. His influence shaped our company’s culture and values, and his memory continues to inspire us in the work we do and the way we treat others.
We miss him deeply, but we carry his spirit forward with pride and gratitude.”
